Therapy:  Offering access to treatment and support, regardless of accessibility, scheduling issues, transportation limits and life circumstances, to clients in distant and rural areas (i.e., Illinois only)

More about Dr. Curotto


I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1998 from The Chicago School and my undergraduate degree from the University Illinois at Chicago. I completed my residency at Ravenswood Community Hospital and  post-doctorate training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center- Family Practice Group/Lake View High School School Based Health Center.  I am EMDR Certified and hold an Advanced Certification in Telemedicine.  I am a Certified Life Coach and Certified Pet Loss and Bereavement Specialist

Clinical, Supervisory, Organizational, Consulting and Teaching Experience

  I have over 20 years of clinical, supervisory, and consulting experience in family practice medical settings, community mental health centers, child and adolescent treatment facilities, religious organizations, Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice, varies governmental agencies, and law enforcement. My international consulting experience includes El Hogar- a medical, residential facility in Chaclacayo, Peru. I have served as the director of the Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education and happily served as an adjunct faculty member at Lewis University and DePaul University.  

Additional Information

I am fluent in Spanish.  I am in good standing with The Illinois Psychological Association and I am a lifelong resident of Chicago.
